In this full-time, temporary to hire Senior Buyer role you will be researching and identifying suppliers, negotiating contract terms, evaluate supplier proposals, and issuing purchase orders.
Senior Buyer Job Duties:- Identify and recommend suppliers
- Conduct supplier visits and evaluate them to meet business needs
- Negotiate final contract terms
- Maintain accurate lead times
- Issue purchase orders and agreements
- Evaluate supplier performance
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $32-$50/hr
Senior Buyer Job Requirements:- 5+ years of experience in procurement/buying
- Strong computer skills- experience with MS Office and MRP systems
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
- Certificate in Purchasing Management a plus.
