Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Business System Analyst, who will be responsible for working with other business analysts and product managers documenting functional requirements, and building process flows on a weekly basis
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field
- 6+ years of experience
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with Elicitation and documentation via Agile/Scum user stories
- Experience with Data Mapping
- Strong Problem Solving
- Payments experience is a plus
- Experience with card based payments
- Experience with SQL (data extraction) is a plus
- Experience with Process flow documentation is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Backlog grooming
- Create user stories
- Requirement elicitation from business partners
- Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
- Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
- Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed
- Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared
- Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles
- Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow
