FactSet Clients look to the Professional Services Group to develop and implement solutions that solve their most complex problems. Our clients see the Professional Services Group as a key partner when complex changes occur at their firm. These changes could include large-scale deployments of FactSet software, organizational changes, and enhancing custom processes. Senior Business Consultants work to establish and drive standardized processes around these changes while ensuring all needs and timelines are met.


FactSet's Professional Services Team has the opportunity to work across the portfolio lifecycle within the Institutional Buy Side Department. As of today, we have the opportunity to work with all core analytics tools, such as PA (Portfolio Analysis), SPAR (our returns-based Style, Performance, and Risk tool), Portfolio Batcher, Publisher, Portfolio Services (our portfolio data management tool), Portfolio Vault, Analytics API, Portfolio Management Platform, GIPS, BISAM (our official performance solution), and Vermilion (our enterprise client reporting tool). As our team's mandate continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Business Consultant to join our team that is eager and curious.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clients to design a cohesive strategy for implementing FactSet into their operating model.

  • Create necessary project management deliverables and confirm projects remain in-line with overarching strategy.

  • Manage members of your implementation team to ensure proper communication occurs and timelines are met.

  • Combine strong industry knowledge and deep FactSet knowledge to produce solutions across all products.

  • Develop and communicate growth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunity during the implementation process.

  • Partner with local leaders to ensure a smooth transition post-implementation.

  • Share developing trends, what is working well, and areas for improvement with the Institutional Busy Side department.

  • Study client workflows and work with Product Development and Engineering to improve FactSet's products.

  • Provide feedback to internal teams as it relates to improving tools for FactSet deployments.

  • Share knowledge with Product teams

  • Mentor junior colleagues within Professional Services


Required Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree required

  • 5+ years of relevant experience required

  • Strong technical skills (experience with FactSet a plus)

  • PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 Certification, or progress/willingness to work your Certification

  • Detail oriented and skilled at project management

  • CFA Charterholder/CIPM, or progress/willingness to work your Charter is highly desired, though not required

  • Proven ability to identify and monetize opportunities with new and existing clients

  • Ability to interact effectively with senior level clients

  • Enthusiasm, desire, and a strong sense of initiative

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to travel

The budgeted amount range for this position in the States of California, Connecticut, Colorado and in New York City is $98,000 - $130,000
