Location: Medical Center-Prosper Department: Clinical Engineering Shift: Varying Shifts (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: This associate is required to perform scheduled procedures, installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and modification on Critical Medical/Clinical/Respiratory patient care equipment. This associate assists with training and technical advice to Biomedical Technicians. Maintains compliance with JCAHO, federal, state, local standards and regulations. Supports the mission, values and strategic aims of Cook Childrens Health Care System. This associate is required to act independently under stressful conditions. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel in the performance of each duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or military training equivalent. Ten (10) years experience in the Clinical/Biomedical repair field.
