Job DetailsJob Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our finance team. This is a permanent position that will play a crucial role in driving business decisions by providing insights and analysis on a wide range of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of BI tools, SQL, and data analysis methodologies.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using tools like SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
2. Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data and model that data in BI tools.
3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and meet data requirements, and to design and create custom reports and dashboards.
4. Lead the design and development of BI tools and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses.
5. Provide expertise in data analysis and data visualization to guide strategic decision-making.
6. Identify, analyze, and interpret complex data sets and trends to support business decision-making.
7. Ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures.
8. Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and data effectively.
9. Train end users on new reports and dashboards, and provide technical support as needed.
10. Maintain and support data analytics platforms and ensure system performance and availability.
11. Monitor analytics and metrics results, and implement new data analysis methodologies as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a BI Analyst role, specifically within the finance industry.
3. Proven experience with BI tools like SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to design and implement innovative solutions.
7. Experience in data modeling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques.
8. The ability to work effectively in teams and independently, managing multiple priorities concurrently.
9. Strong understanding of financial data analysis and familiarity with financial systems.
10. Proven ability to drive business results with data-based insights.
