Job Details

Responsibilities
As a Audit professional, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
2. Conducting comprehensive audit reviews to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
3. Providing tax planning and consultation services to minimize tax liabilities and ensure optimal tax advantages.
4. Identifying and mitigating tax risks through careful evaluation of financial and operational processes.
5. Collaborating with team members to develop strategies for solving complex tax and audit issues.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and ensuring that clients are informed of relevant changes that may affect their businesses.
7. Assisting with financial forecasting and strategic planning.
8. Providing excellent customer service, including managing and responding to client queries in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or higher is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax and audit roles, preferably within a public accounting firm.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
4. Proficiency in tax preparation and audit review.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
9. A commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and upholding the ethical standards of the accounting profession.
