Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic, highly-skilled, and experienced Senior Audit Associate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you will play a crucial role in the financial health and integrity of our organization. This position offers a hybrid/remote work structure that promotes a healthy work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and assurance, with a proven track record as an associate in the finance industry.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Audit Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and executing audits across various business units, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
2. Preparing and presenting detailed audit reports to senior management, highlighting areas of risk and recommending improvements.
3. Collaborating with different departments to understand their processes and controls, and providing guidance on best practices.
4. Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of audit procedures and processes.
5. Participating in the planning and implementation of new accounting and auditing standards.
6. Providing training and mentorship to junior audit associates, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
7. Staying abreast of industry trends and changes in regulatory environment to ensure the company's compliance.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. At least 3 years of experience in audit and assurance, preferably within the finance industry.
3. Preferred experience within construction, manufacturing/distribution, technology and/or business combination (M&A)
4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
5. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
7. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical standards.
8. Proficiency in using audit software and other financial systems.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
10. Ability to work in a hybrid/remote environment, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
