Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and handle litigation cases, from initial assessment through to resolution.
2. Provide expert legal advice on labor and employment law matters, including but not limited to, employment contracts, employee benefits, and labor disputes.
3. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and to stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
4. Draft, review, and revise various legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, contracts, and other legal correspondence.
5. Represent the company in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitration hearings.
6. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop strategies for litigation and other legal matters.
7. Provide training and guidance to junior associates and other staff on legal matters.
8. Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing in the state of California with at least 5 years of experience in litigation and labor and employment law.
3. Strong legal research and writing skills, with a proven track record of drafting a wide range of legal documents.
4. Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
5. Proficient in legal research software and other relevant technology.
6. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, with excellent attention to detail.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
8. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and learning.
