Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in family law and have excellent skills in legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing for trial. The candidate will represent clients in various family law matters and provide legal advice and guidance.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in various civil litigation matters
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests
  • Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations
  • Prepare for trial, including developing case strategy and preparing witnesses
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing parties
  • Stay current with legal developments and case law relevant to civil litigation

Requirements:
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the California Bar
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in family law
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
