We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our dynamic Insurance Defense team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in 3rd and/or 1st party insurance to play a pivotal role in our firm. You will be part of a team that is responsible for representing a diverse clientele in complex insurance matters. The Senior Associate Attorney will work directly with partners and clients to handle caseloads from start to finish. This is a full-time, onsite position that demands a high level of commitment, expertise, and professionalism.

Responsibilities
1. Provide legal representation to our clients in a wide array of insurance defense matters.
2. Manage a significant caseload from inception to closure, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs.
3. Conduct and defend depositions, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court.
4. Develop and implement defense strategies, communicate with clients and opposing counsel, and prepare reports on case status.
5. Stay updated on current legislation and legal processes related to insurance defense and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
6. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure best outcomes for clients, while also providing mentorship to junior attorneys.
7. Participate in business development activities to attract and retain clients.

Qualifications
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Florida state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on 1st and 3rd party insurance matters.
4. Proven track record of successfully managing a significant caseload from inception to closure.
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
7. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
8. High degree of professionalism and adherence to strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
9. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Business development experience with a proven track record of attracting and retaining clients is a plus.
