Title: Senior Architect Project Lead

Summary:

CEI s entertainment client is adding a highly skilled and motivated Senior Architect Project Lead to their team based out of Anaheim, CA. As part of the Architecture & Facilities Engineering team, you'll play a key role in supporting and developing projects from attractions to hotels, and shops to entertainment venues. You will provide technical expertise, leadership, and oversight for a variety of projects. From concept to construction, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and project teams to ensure that all built environments meet company standards of quality, safety, and innovation.

Job at a glance:

  • $83-88/hr. W2 or $140-$149k salary

Responsibilities:

  • Review project concepts with internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Develop project scopes of work and create RFPs for external Architects/Engineers/Consultants.
  • Develop varied facility design projects at all stages, from concept to construction documentation.
  • Manage the design and development of project construction drawings and specifications.
  • Provide architectural resources for project scope development, planning, and code compliance.
  • Coordinate with Facility Assessment Management partners to review scope, schedule, and budgets.
  • Lead design reviews and meetings throughout the design process.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and statutes.
  • Liaise with City officials and external agencies to ensure project compliance.
  • Provide guidance and decision support to executive leadership.
  • Coordinate responses to city plan check comments, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Prepare punch walk lists and gather project documentation for closeout.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master's degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited school.
  • Architectural License in the State of California is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years professional experience in Architecture.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Extensive knowledge of California Building Code, health codes, CalOSHA, and ADA.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management abilities.

What We Look For:

  • Professional design experience in various project and construction types.
  • Familiarity with all phases of design and construction practices.
  • Construction administration experience, including site visits and review of RFIs and submittals.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Capability to work independently and seek guidance as needed.
