Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Specialist
- Oversee and review all AP, AR, and Payroll functions
- Hands on with accounting processes including all journal entries and reconciliations
- The Senior Accounting Specialist will be responsible for the cash disbursements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Accounting Specialist
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related
- Experience working with a municipality, nonprofit, or governmental entity
- Hands on with month end accounting
