We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in the technology sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives. This position requires a high level of strategic thinking, leadership, and advanced understanding of financial systems and processes. Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accounting Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
3. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
4. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
5. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
6. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
7. Assisting in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices.
8. Assisting the leadership in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.
9. Coordinating activities of external auditors.
10. Implementing new accounting systems and processes and guiding staff in their use.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. CPA certification is required.
3. Big 4 experience highly preferred.
