Our client is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager who will oversee the accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving financial excellence within the organization. This candidate will lead a team of skilled professionals and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize financial processes, enhance internal controls, and facilitate accurate financial reporting.

Overview of the Senior Accounting Manager role:
- Review and analyze financial results, ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Develop and implement internal control procedures.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage month-end and year end close processes.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic financial initiatives and provide insights to support key business decisions.
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years experience in a PEO organization
- CPA (+)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of the payroll process of PEO experience (+)
