Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year

Job Details

This is an excellent opportunity with a firm that values its employees and their professional growth. The Senior Accountant will work on closely held businesses and high net worth individuals.

This position is somewhat unique as the primary responsibilities are tax work (corporate, individual, estate/trust/gift tax returns) as well as reviews and compilations.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of complex individual, corporate, and partnership returns including multi-state and consolidated returns
  • Review of tax returns completed by staff
  • Assist in designing tax planning strategies for clients
  • Prepare compilations and reviews of financial statements
  • Managing, developing, training and mentoring of staff
  • Establishing and maintaining client relationships including managing expectations and meeting deadlines

You should have some of the following:
  • Bachelors in accounting, MPAc a plus
  • CPA certification preferable
  • 3+ years of experience in an accounting role with a public accounting firm
  • Strong technical skills and research capabilities
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement and Document a plus
