Senior Accountant

Overview of the Senior Accountant role:
- Perform month end closing duties: financial statements, preparation and review of journal entries, General Ledger reconciliations
- Review and approve vouchers for accounts payable
- Provide support for internal and external audits, ensure adherence to standard requirements; create new processes to improve efficiency
- Assist with monthly and quarterly reports and operational analysis
- Process weekly payroll
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP's
- Expertise in QuickBooks online and desktop
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP
