We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization. You will be working closely with our finance team and other departments, providing your expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and decision-making processes. Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
2. Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
3. Preparing budgeting reports and conducting cost and revenue analysis.
4. Ensuring all financial operations comply with federal and state laws.
5. Assisting in the development of internal control policies, procedures, and financial planning as needed.
6. Creating monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
7. Ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met, both internal and external.
8. Ensuring compliance with GAAP principles and SOX compliance.
9. Working closely with the financial management team to create budgets and financial forecasts.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
3. Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an accountant, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
4. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Experience with financial reporting, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
6. Hands-on experience with accounting software and databases.
7. Excellent knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
8. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
9. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and part of a team.
11. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
12. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
