Position Overview: The Senior Accountant position plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, providing insightful financial analysis, and assisting with strategic financial decisions. Responsibilities:

- Oversee the maintenance of general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth.
- Review the work of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processes.

- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards, including GAAP and relevant industry guidelines.
- Assist in coordinating and supporting internal and external audits.
- Lead the preparation of audit schedules and respond to audit inquiries.

- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen controls.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
