Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position within our Manufacturing division. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to further their career within a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Managing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date.

2. Preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.

3. Performing general ledger account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

4. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, providing insights into the company's financial performance.

5. Collaborating with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting.

6. Ensuring compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards.

7. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

8. Participating in internal and external audits, providing necessary information and facilitating the resolution of audit findings.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Senior Accountant role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a publicly traded company.

3. Proficiency in general ledger account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entry preparation.

4. Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting.

5. Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in financial data.

6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively present financial information to non-financial audiences.

8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
