Nesco's client in Naugatuck, has an immediate temporary need for a Senior Accountant. Work for a hands-on Accounting Manager who seeks assistance with month-end close, financial reporting, G/L analysis, reconciliations etc The ideal candidate is a detail oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties:
- Maintain general ledger by transferring accounts, preparing trial balances, and reconciling entries
- Financial reporting and data compilation as needed - preparing P&L and balance sheet statements, providing auditors with information, and procuring ad hoc reports as requested.
- Assist with month end close for all entities, finalize all reconciliations.
- Support management as needed with analysis, reporting, KPI's, and more
What You'll Need to Succeed: - Bachelor's in Accounting
- 6+ years of experience; familiarity with manufacturing environments a plus
- Exceptional Excel skills are a must
- ERP System experience a plus
