OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial procedures and controls.
- Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
- 3 + years as an Accountant preferably in the manufacturing space.
- Knowledge around job costing and inventory.
- Advanced in excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)
- Experience working with ERP accounting system; Made2Manage software, a plus.
