Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Muskegon, MI
Compensation: Up to $85,000
Hours: M-F from 8a-5p or 7:30a-4:30p (flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
1) Month end close
2) Financial statements
3) Expense reporting
Qualifications: - Data mining out of ERP (writing queries and need to understand how to get data out of the system) - MUST
- Advance excel (pivot tables, V Look UPs) - MUST
- Prior month end close/financial statements/inventory at the corporate level vs division level (7+ yrs exp) - MUST
- Bachelor's degree
- Distribution or material handling (Plus)
- Public or Tax experience (Plus)
Personality: - Quiet team
- Head down accounting department
- Able to work independently
- Will ask questions they don't understand something
- Tech savvy
- Wants to be in office with the team
- Able to work in a high volume transactional fast paced environment
