RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
- Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
- Create new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies
- Variance analysis
- Own corporate oversight of inventory accounting carried out by business units
- Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize
- Support the year-end financial audit and tax preparation process with external auditors
- Assist in providing information for external reporting
- current and projected company financial position.
- Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
- Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: - Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of post-graduate Accounting experience
- Public accounting experience preferred but not required
- Professional runway for growth/advancement
- Strong intellectual curiosity
Compensation: $85K to $105K + 10% bonus target
