Job Title: Senior Accountant
Summary: Newly created Senior Accountant opening. Take on a rewarding role with excellent exposure to senior leadership. This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home, with the added benefit of a day or two onsite each quarter. Reporting into a fantastic leader/mentor, you, as a Senior Accountant, will play a pivotal role in our financial operations and enjoy opportunities for growth and advancement within our organization.
Responsibilities of a Senior Accountant:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations and accounting principles.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and general ledger entries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and procedures.
- Assist with tax planning and compliance activities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements for a Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: $75K to $85K + Bonus + Profit Sharing
