About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's Accounting Team. This team oversees accounting operations for our client's global footprint. From managing day-to-day financial activities to ensuring compliance with regulations, the team plays a pivotal role in driving efficiency and accuracy across key areas such as month-end close, compensation-related accounting, and adherence to accounting standards.
About The Job
- Prepare journal entries, document business processes, and conduct monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
- Generate monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting, ensuring consistency and accuracy of accounting reports and ledgers. Address complex accounting issues, provide leadership in accounting matters, and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Collaborate with various teams to assess the impact of contractual arrangements on accounting, support US GAAP audits and tax filings, assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, contribute to system upgrades and implementations, and lead or assist in cross-functional projects as required.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience with Big 4 audit firms, CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 4+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting.
- Familiarity with US GAAP and internal controls.
- Proactive approach to new tasks and projects, ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, leadership qualities with problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce, knowledge of BI tools a plus
