Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This individual will play a critical role in our organization's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting and tax filing, with expertise in "Great Plains" or equivalent software. This is a permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accountant to apply their skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all general ledger accounting activities.
2. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
3. Ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate taxes.
4. Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
5. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
6. Work closely with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
7. Participate in the annual budgeting process and perform periodic budget reviews.
8. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary information and answering inquiries.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.
10. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
3. Proven experience in general ledger accounting and tax filing.
4. Proficiency in "Great Plains" or equivalent accounting software.
5. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
6. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
