As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of our accounting records. Your responsibilities will include performing a wide range of accounting activities, from reconciling ledger accounts to preparing comprehensive financial statements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP System Software, and other web-based applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to cultivate working relationships throughout the organization.

Job Details

Month and Year-End Close Procedures:
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions.
  • Perform a thorough review to guarantee completeness and accuracy in financial reporting.

Balance Sheet Reconciliations:
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to validate the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Reconcile all company bank accounts to the general ledger and maintain an up-to-date listing of outstanding checks in the ERP system.

Journal Entries and Financial Analysis:
  • Prepare and record liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis before the close to proactively identify and address potential concerns.

Intercompany Settlement and Purchase Order Monitoring:
  • Complete monthly intercompany settlements to ensure accurate financial transactions.
  • Monitor IFS purchase orders for coding errors, communicating with users to make necessary corrections.

Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare monthly financial packages for distribution, providing key insights into the company's financial performance.

Commission Agreements and Audit:
  • Maintain commission agreements, calculating and processing commission reports for monthly payment.
  • Audit new vendor forms and assist in the annual financial audit process.

Ad Hoc Accounting Projects:
  • Contribute to various accounting projects and handle additional duties as required.
