We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to apply your financial acumen in a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial functions.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
2. Preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards, regulations, and laws.
3. Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciling bank and credit card accounts, coordinating and completing annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
4. Analyzing and reporting on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis.
5. Streamline and improve financial systems and processes.
6. Using Sage software to manage financial transactions and create financial reports.
7. Assisting with tax audits and tax returns.
8. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role.
3. Strong proficiency in Sage and other financial management software.
4. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
5. Proven expertise in financial reporting and General Ledger functions.
6. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
10. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
