Senior Accountant Position (Immediate Availability) Hybrid Position
Primary Function: Maintains accounting records for various agencies, including recording of all bank activity (Receipts/EFTS), coordinating training on accounting programs, processing payroll, assisting with producer commission calculations, performing monthly audits, and assistance with agency cleanup.
Candidate will be required to perform a variety of complex tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in all areas relating to financial reporting. Supervision of accounting staff as required, and coordination of accounting tasks across the team.
Special Projects/Month-End Functions: 25% Support the Controller with routine duties and non-routine duties with emphasis on general ledger management, all major account reconciliations, journal entry postings, financial reporting, and special projects as needed.
Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required. Minimum 3 years experience in accounting or related field. Highly-organized, and good time-management skills needed.
