Senior Accountant

A construction development firm in Indianapolis, IN is searching for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the accounting operations of the company. This hybrid role involves extensive financial reporting, developing accounting and effective cash management. They re looking for candidates with solid technical skills, 3+ years of accounting experience, and familiarity with Sage 300 CRE and multi-entity accounting. Senior Accountant Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level
Solid experience with QuickBooks Desktop
Experience with Sage300 CRE is preferred
Reliable and trustworthy with a commitment to high ethical standards
Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic office environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong team relationships

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

Conduct monthly financial reporting and prepare financial statements
Manage development accounting specific to property management
Oversee cash management and perform bank reconciliations
Prepare and record journal entries
Engage in balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
Report financial details to third-party investors
