Senior Accountant (Operating Expenses)
Location: Herndon, VA - Position will be hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Senior accountant will support manual accrual process - posting accruals at end of each month (Excel uploads into NetSuite - research if accrued or not accrued). This is heavy during the end of month, for rest of month, will have other accounting tasks.
- Senior Accountant should understand cycle of accruals, invoicing, and expense analysis at end of month.
- Senior Accountant will complete intercompany transactions
- Senior Accountant will assist with SG&A taxes
- Senior Accountant will support general ledger accounting
- Senior Accountant may assist with debt agreement and supporting tasks related to this
- Senior Accountant will complete ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years in a corporate accounting environment experience
- Degree required
- Previous NetSuite experience is a plus but NOT required - will be trained on our client's process
- Must understand operating expenses
- Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUP's
