Overview of the Senior Accountant role:
- Prepare and examine financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
- Perform general ledger functions, including journal entries and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying areas of improvement and recommending solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.
- Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Preferred qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree is preferred
- 2+ years of experience
