Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial information, managing cash flow, and forecasting. This role will also involve account and bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and overseeing the month-end and year-end close process. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to audits and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP Business One, is required.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making and fulfill statutory requirements.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee cash flow management and provide accurate forecasting to support business planning.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely completion and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in audits, collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Utilize ERP systems, specifically SAP Business One, to streamline accounting processes and maintain accurate financial records.
• Continually review and improve financial processes for effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in account and bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and cash flow management.
• Proven experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Experience with audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP Business One.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
