Senior Accountant

Exact Schedule - 8am-5pm M-F, OT possible, Fully Onsite

Pay Range- $40-$47.50/hr.

Job Description: Requirements -

- Execute regular tasks relating to the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close process

- Serve as the backup for Sr. Cost Accountant, Carlsbad plant, who is on LOA.

- Take on tasks assigned by the Sr. Manager, Cost Accounting (E1 ERP)

- Participate in process improvements in data reporting and extracts of data and reconcile between source ERP system (JD Edwards E1) GL and transactional data to consolidated reporting in (HFM) Hyperion

- Support SOX and External auditors by providing clear supporting explanations and documents

• Assist in month-end close process.

• Conduct balance sheet reviews as assigned.

How will you get here?

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is required.

• Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Experience in the (E1) ERP systems and analytical tools.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.

• Proficient in Excel required
