Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Managing all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Assisting with financial reporting, preparing detailed revenue and expense reports, and balance sheets.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting periodic audits.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
  • Performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations.
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets or forecasts.
  • Participating in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
