Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
3. Manage the preparation and execution of the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
4. Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
5. Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
6. Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management based on findings.
7. Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
8. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
9. Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
10. Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of financial systems and software.
11. Prepare and present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
12. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to maintain up-to-date knowledge.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
3. Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel.
4. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Experience with general ledger functions, account reconciliation, budgeting, internal controls, and fixed assets.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex financial data.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
10. Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
11. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees and management.
12. Superb analytical skills, understanding of business operations, and attention to detail.
