Overview of the Senior Accountant role:
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts
- Perform month end closing duties and direct annual audits
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Perform audits and ensure adherence to standard requirements; create new processes to improve efficiency
- Ensure that all financial data is secure and complies with confidentiality policies
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a major ERP system
