Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of corporate accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accepted accounting principles.
2. Prepare and file property tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
3. Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
4. Coordinate and execute the month-end and year-end close processes.
5. Prepare and record journal entries, maintaining and balancing ledger accounts.
6. Compile and submit SEC reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
7. Oversee the management of fixed assets, including their acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
8. Assist in the development and management of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
9. Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and develop strategies for improvements.
10. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
3. Audit experience preferred.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
6. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service orientation.
8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
9. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
