Job Details

Essential job duties:
General accounting/general ledger including review of journal entries, bank reconciliations and financial statements
Cash Management including daily monitoring of liquid cash balances, supporting cash deposit inquiries and acting as liaison with banking institutions
Supervise Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable (including preparation of 1099's)
Oversee and backup payroll process
Develop and monitor various budgets
Assist in year-end audit work paper presentation
Consult with client on various internal accounting related transactions
Be familiar with third party fund accounting software
Work on a variety of projects in our Government services team
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field of study
Government accounting experience (preferred)
CPA or actively pursuing a license
5+ years of general accounting experience
Supervisory experience is a plus
Ability to work hours outside of normal business hours to attend meetings
Strong verbal & written communication abilities with various levels of management & public speaking
Desire to work in a team environment
Ability to multi task, establish priorities & organize efficiently
Highly motivated, self-starter
