Our client is a prominent player in the Automotive/Client Service industry and is currently looking to add a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst in to their team in Downtown Chicago.

Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned General Ledger accounts
- Ensure timely month end close and financial reporting
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address and resolve accounting issues promptly
- Provide financial support in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Analyze financial data to offer insights for strategic decision-making
- Analyze customer data and prepare reports
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes
- Partner with the Assistant Controller and CFO to establish robust processes and controls for accurate financial reporting
- Contribute to accounting projects and system implementations
- Assist auditors as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in Big 4 or top regional firm
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other office locations
