About the Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor role:
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
- Prepares and records journal entries
- Performs fixed asset analysis, documentation, and various reconciliations
- Performs accounts receivable reconciliations and revenue recognition
- Prepares commission calculations
- Assists with year-end audits
- Assists with month-end close activities
- Process improvements that drive change throughout the month
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor:
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- AS or BS in Accounting or related field / comparable experience
