We are seeking a results-driven, customer-focused, experienced Account Manager to join our sales team. This position plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and within the market, while also taking necessary actions to grow revenue profitably and support the sales pipeline. The Sr. Account Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of our products and services. This role will primarily support OE customers.

The CVG Aftermarket & Accessories business includes sales of seating, wiper systems, mirrors and various new products to both OE heavy duty vehicle manufacturers within multiple segments (primarily truck, bus, vocational vehicles), and the aftermarket (inclusive of OE Service and the independent aftermarket).

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact, and ensuring their needs are met. Maintain relationships at multiple levels within customers.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by proactively prospecting, cold-calling, and networking within the industry. Must develop industry relationships and know the upcoming future projects of all key customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and their applications to effectively communicate their value propositions to clients.
  • Sales Strategies: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and expand market share.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development/engineering, operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure the smooth execution of orders and projects.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market data. Prepare regular reports and forecasts for management.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional post-sales support by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Travel: Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and visit production facilities. Up to 20% may be required, may fluctuate periodically.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.
