Senior Accountant
CFS has partnered with an international company to help identify their new Senior Accountant. This is a newly created role due to growth. This role offers room for advancement, visibility to the management team, competitive compensation, and benefits package. This role will support the VP of Accounting on various finance initiatives, while supporting the growth of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Handle financial transactions from day-to-day and month-end close, to audit and tax support.
- Review accounting for leases and loans, ensuring proper financial reporting.
- Maintain accounting and booking records, leasing files, loan files, A/R, and A/P.
- Work closely with VP Accounting to create financial reporting and metrics.
- Support the implementation of new financial systems, specifically the cash management system.
- Support treasury functions: new securitization accounting; LT/ST debt; daily cash movements.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance.
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Equipment leasing/financial services industry experience is a plus.
