Login Now -WH: SEIT Engineer/Site Lead - Warren, MI LocationMI, Warren/Detroit ScheduleFull Time Salary Range- Davidson is actively seeking a Systems, Integration and Test Engineer/Site Lead in Warren, MI This role contributes to a valuable modeling and simulation (M&S) product for the United States Army's Ground Vehicle Active Protection System (APS). The program is dedicated to advancing constructive and virtual software capabilities for analyzing and wargaming current and potential APS solutions. The ideal candidate will: Act as Davidson point-of-contact for local company efforts and projects including business development Lead and support technical configuration, integration, use and debugging of the software at the government integration facility, and provide feedback to the development team Solicit and understand customer technical needs and translate into software requirements Lead and support customer demonstrations and other events that require software execution Configure and employ the software product to provide analysis results to customer Self-organize and participate in an Agile development lifecycle providing varied engineering support Experience Level: Mid-career Technical Engineer High Level Role and Responsibilities: The SEIT Engineer will work as part of a cross-functional team to support product development, user support and company growth. Primary responsibilities include designing, testing, and integrating M&S solutions in both a development and customer environment. Other key responsibilities include identifying new growth opportunities, providing on-site support to the development team and government customer by developing model design documentation, testing new capabilities, training users, and integrating/executing the software in the customer's environment. Responsibilities: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 6 years of experience in government contracting-related roles Ability to clearly and concisely communicate software capabilities to technical and non-technical customers Agility in adapting to shifts in priorities and schedules to ensure program success Understanding of networking, tactical communications and hardware integration Ability to perform varied software testing methods to ensure software meets capability and quality requirements Ability to troubleshoot integration issues and implement solutions Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) Desired Competencies/Experience/Certifications: Master's Degree in a business-related or technical degree Experience working with Army APS programs and customers Background in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment Experience with Agile software development practices and Agile methodologies Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, build process, testing, and operations Experience with modeling and simulations, gaming engines and software development Clearance Requirements:
Currently holds or able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance
