Title:
Security Specialist KBR is seeking a highly organized and experienced Security Specialist to join our team to support to the Army's Search Track Acquire Radiate Eliminate (STARE) Project Office located on Redstone Arsenal, AL. Serves as a security specialist supporting a government office in security disciplines including, Information Security, Industrial Security, Physical Security, Personnel Security, OPSEC, and Foreign Disclosure. Position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, multi-tasking, and the ability to operate in a high-paced, team environment. Travel up to 25%. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Develop security plans and procedures for handling, safeguarding, transmission, receipt, and generation of classified information.
Review security clearance determinations for employees or other persons for access to sensitive information, resources, material, or work sites.
Support a multi-discipline security program to protect classified information located at all government and contractor facilities involved in the program.
Support detailed security procedures (SOPs, OPSEC Plans, Treaty Plans, etc.) to be implemented at all locations involved in the program.
Continuously evaluate and modify security program as technology matures and progresses through research and development, production and fielding, ensuring continuous protection.
Job Requirements: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience
Strong knowledge of US Army Security systems and procedures.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams and SharePoint.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
