Duties Serves as a headquarters authority and expert on matters involving force protection (FP and anti-terrorism (AT) requirements, policy, procedures, and program status. Directs the development, implementation, and operation of an integrated AT program Plans, formulates, and coordinates all matters pertaining to the protection and security of personnel, property and material against terrorist threats Recommends revision of local policy as a result of trends discovered in the review and analysis process Plans, develops, and administers vital AT and FP projects and programs which are central to the mission of the organization. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance. This position is covered by the 1996 LAUTENBERG AMENDMENT TO THE GUN CONTROL ACT OF 1968. Persons convicted of a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence are not eligible for the position. This position is covered by the Civilian Drug Abuse Testing Program. You are required to sign a DA Form 5019-R , or a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). You must obtain and maintain formal antiterrorism (AT) Level II training and certification at the TRADOC-designated course provided by the United States Army Military Police School (USAMPS) within 180 days of assumption of duties. This position has been identified for the Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification Program. This is the Department of Defense (DoD) Security Certification Program directed by DoD Instruction 3305.13. Develop and implement crisis management planning and execution. Assist with managing the Antiterrorism program on anti-terrorism matters, program planning, assessment and execution. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
