Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible schedule, have a willingness to be challenged at different locations, and have a desire to learn and grow? American Security has immediate openings for devoted and experienced Security Float Officers that will work in positions in various Minneapolis facilities and locations, covering for open shifts and for individuals that are away from their regular shifts.
Individuals in this role need to be willing to invest in extensive training from the outset of their employment and be able to adjust to variable work environments. With that comes recognition and the possible opportunity to settle into a permanent role if the chance arises.
We are seeking qualified individuals for various locations and shifts.
Job Duties
- Patrolling buildings, facilities, or work sites
- Investigating and reporting hazards or suspicious circumstances
- Securing doors and windows
- Enforcing rules and regulations
- Responding to alarms

Requirements
- You must be 18 years old
- Experience in previous security roles is required
- For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English proficiently
- A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
