The Information Technology team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a top Retail Organization that has an opening for a remote Security Engineer - IT Security.

Rate ranges - $75/hr to $95/hr on W2 (DOE)
Background:
Join our Network Infrastructure Team, responsible for managing LAN/WAN/WLAN, Firewalls, Load Balancers, VoIP, and more. This cohesive team collaborates effectively and operates with a high level of autonomy.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with network and firewall operations, management, and administration to protect the information assets and technology infrastructures of the organization.
- Builds Ad-Hoc (simple) Rules and network changes as needs arise.
- Participating in team and project meetings.
- Reviewing and processing firewall requests.
- Implementing and managing firewall rules.
- Contribute to network architecture discussions.
- Execute minor network changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network-related projects.
Required Skills:
- Firewall experience (Palo Alto preferred)
- Network experience (Cisco/Arista)
- Routing/Switching experience.
- Cloud experience is nice to have. We use Azure. Arista is also nice to have.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with VoIP systems.
- Familiarity with load balancers.
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security).
Standout Qualifications:
- Both Networking and Firewall (Palo Alto) experience.
- Proficiency with Cisco/Arista networking equipment and Palo Alto firewalls.
