Security Assistant Training Specialist with Security Clearance

Duties Assist countries in defining the total training requirement to support a given equipment procurement and delivery schedule. Plan programs and monitors training programs that support international students (military and civilians) under Foreign Military Sales (FMS), or other training furnished by other government agencies, such as NATO and Department of State. Planning and scheduling, Security Assistance (SA) training programs for all foreign countries and international organizations. Provide relevant data to assist in determining specific training solutions that satisfy country-determined training objectives Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification. Must complete certification-related training requirements in the security cooperation area of concentration within the timeframe associated with the position. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or remove. This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25 % of the time. Training Program Evaluation Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone "No substitution of education for experience is permitted".
