Seasonal Pool Manager

Description To supervise the activities, operation, programs and staff at an individual aquatic facility; and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility and to follow all local, state, and federal laws applicable to area of responsibility. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or GED; Valid Texas Driver's License; Current American Red Cross Standard First Aid Certificate; Current American Red Cross Adult CPR Certificate; Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate; Current Water Safety Instructor. Prefer three years of experience in lifeguarding and in instructing American Red Cross Water Safety classess. Also a working knowledge of pool operations, water chemistry, general maintenance and mechanical operations is beneficial. The City of Longview does not offer benefits to part-time or temporary positions. However, instead of paying into Social Security the employee and the City will pay into an alternative retirement system that the employee will be able to access upon the termination of their part-time/temporary employment.
